The Special
Master's Office is dedicated to assisting all parties within the
MDL-1203. Their office has the task of monitoring all
discovery of a case that has been transferred to the MDL-1203 from
the original Court from which it was filed, until the time has come
to remand the case back to the transferor Court. |

Upon
being transferred and entered into the MDL-1203, within the Eastern
District of Pennsylvania, before Judge Harvey Bartle, III, a new
civil action number is assigned. Depending on the type of case,
(i.e., single or multi-plaintiff), the Special Master's Office will
assign a Discovery Initiation Date, (DID), to that particular civil
action number. All discovery requirement deadlines will be
based upon that date. Please pay special attention to Pretrial
Order Nos. 2930 & 3370 as it relates to all discovery and
deadline requirements before remand. |

Notice of Pending Motions | Upon
entering the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, MDL-1203, in
accordance with Pretrial Order No. 3970, a Notice of Pending
Motions is to be filed, along with the original motion and any/all
briefing that has been filed by both parties in the transferor
Court. |
